 The Marlins and Phillies split their 10 games at Citizens Bank Park last season, after going 2-8 there in 2018. Miami hasn't won its season series at Philadelphia since 2009, when the Marlins went 7--2 at CBP in the Phillies' NL championship season.

 New Phillies manager Joe Girardi was 41 years old—and just three years removed from his final season as a player (with STL in 2003) when he made his MLB managerial debut for the Marlins in 2006.

 During his last three full seasons (2016--18), Didi Gregorius ranked third in the majors in home runs as a shortstop (71), and he was tied with Carlos Correa for fourth in RBI as a shortstop (241) in that span.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Brian Anderson and Miguel Rojas each hit three-run homers and the Miami Marlins overcame the late scratch of their starting pitcher and a looming health scare to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 11-6 on Sunday.
Jose Urena, Miami's opening day starter in 2018 and 2019, was bumped from his start about 90 minutes before the first pitch. The Marlins did not disclose the reason.
