 The Marlins won the season series against the Dodgers in 2018, winning four of the six matchups. Since 2016, Los Angeles has a 9-11 (.450) record against Miami, its lowest winning percentage against any National League opponent over that time.

There is something about the Miami Marlins that does not sit well with Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. He plans to remedy that Saturday in Los Angeles.
In 11 career starts, Kershaw is just 5-5 against the Marlins, and in the one game when he did not get a decision, the Dodgers lost. Miami is just one of two National League teams he does not have a winning record against, along with the Philadelphia Phillies (4-5).

LOS ANGELES (AP)  Matt Beaty keeps making it difficult for the Los Angeles Dodgers to send him down to Triple-A again.
The rookie came off the bench to play left field during the eighth inning against the Miami Marlins on Saturday night and then delivered a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning to break a tie as the Dodgers recovered for a 10-6 victory after blowing a six-run lead.
