 The Brewers are 6-3 against the Reds, sweeping the only series played at Cincinnati to open April. All three of those wins were by one run, and since the start of last season Milwaukee's 45-26 record in one-run games is MLB's third-best winning percentage (.634) in games decided by a single run.

 All-Star Yasmani Grandal has a .364/.548/.682 slash line with two homers and six runs scored in eight games against the Reds this year. On the season, he has 18 home runs, 11 doubles, 46 RBI and 45 walks, and is the first catcher to enter July with at least 15 homers, 10 doubles, 45 RBI and 45 walks since the Yankees' Jorge Posada in 2003.

 The Brewers finished up June with a 13-13 record after entering the month 32-26. They had a minus-0.69 run differential last month after being at plus-0.25 prior to June.

The Brewers bid to bolster their division lead on Tuesday when they play the second contest of their four-game series against the host Cincinnati Reds. Milwaukee is one game up on the Chicago Cubs, who lost 18-5 to the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Monday.

First-place Brewers look to keep rolling in Cincy

CINCINNATI (AP)  Christian Yelich's throw short-hopped first baseman Eric Thames, deflected off the end of his glove and skittered across the infield. Yasiel Puig saw an opening to end the game.
Puig homered to start Cincinnati's comeback, and he scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning Tuesday night, rallying the Reds to a 5-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
