The Rockies took two of three from the Braves in Atlanta over the weekend. The Rockies are 10-3 in their last 13 games after starting the season 3-12. Colorado has homered at least twice in nine of the last 13 games after hitting multiple home runs in two of its first 15 games.

The Brewers won two of three game against the Mets in New York over the weekend. Milwaukee's 10-2 win on Friday snapped a four-game losing skid. The Brewers have homered in every home game so far this season, tied for the longest such streak to start a season in National League history.

The Brewers went 8-2 against the Rockies last season, including a 3-0 sweep of Colorado in the NLDS. Milwaukee's bullpen had a 2.55 ERA in those ten games while Colorado's relievers combined for a 4.89 ERA.

Kyle Freeland tossed six scoreless innings with two hits and no walks allowed against the Phillies in his last start. In his previous three starts he had gone 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA and a 1.91 WHIP.

Nolan Arenado homered twice in the weekend series with the Braves to bring his season home run total to six, all of which have been hit since April 14. The Rockies are 6-0 this season when Arenado homers.

Mike Moustakas recorded two hits in the three games against the Mets and five total RBI. Moustakas has a career .362 batting average in 51 plate appearances against the Rockies (regular and postseason), fifth highest among current National Leaguers (minimum 50 plate appearances).

MILWAUKEE (AP)  After finally rediscovering his home run stroke, Jesus Aguilar is going to treat himself to some well-deserved rest.
The struggling slugger hit his first two homers of the season and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-1 Monday night with NL MVP Christian Yelich sidelined by lower back soreness.
