 The Orioles picked up their 10th win of the season and the series victory over the White Sox with a 4-3 win on April 24. Baltimore did not win its 10th game last season until May 10 (were 10-27 at the time).

 After winning the first four games of their six-game road trip, the Twins have lost their last two games, both against the Astros. Minnesota batted .318 and averaged 8.8 runs per game over the first four games of its road trip, then batted .156 and averaged 2.5 runs over the final two games.

 Including a three-game sweep earlier this month, the Twins have won nine consecutive games against the Orioles, their longest active win streak against any opponent.

 In his most recent start, Alex Cobb allowed nine earned runs over 2.2 innings against the Twins on April 20. Cobb's game score for that start was 4, the lowest in a start by any pitcher this season.

 Nelson Cruz batted .385 with two home runs in the Twins' three-game series against Baltimore earlier this month. Cruz is a career .355 hitter against the O's, the third-highest by any player since the team moved to Baltimore in 1954 (Miguel Cabrera - .366, Marty Barrett - .363) (min. 250 PA vs. Bal).

 Trey Mancini leads the Orioles in batting average (.337), runs (23), and is tied for the lead in home runs (6). Mancini is the only American League player this season leading his team in all three categories.

The Minnesota Twins have given the Baltimore pitching staff fits so far this season. They'll try to continue doing that when hosting the Orioles in a Saturday matinee in Minneapolis.
The Twins banged out five solo homers in a 6-1 victory over Baltimore on Friday night. Nelson Cruz hit two, while Eddie Rosario, C.J. Cron and Max Kepler each hit one. Cruz, Rosario and Cron hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the first inning off Orioles starter Alex Cobb.

Twins look to keep teeing off vs. Orioles

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)  Baltimore's pitching staff kept the Minnesota Twins in the ballpark - for five innings. Then it was back to normal for the Orioles.
Minnesota hit five home runs for the second straight day, including a pair by Max Kepler in a 9-2 rout of the Orioles on Saturday.
