 The Brewers took two of three from the Dodgers when the teams met in Los Angeles from April 12-14. Since last season (including playoffs), the Dodgers have outscored the Brewers 84-62 across 17 games but only hold a 9-8 advantage in wins.

 The Dodgers swept the Reds in a three-game series in Los Angeles. Cincinnati recorded a .194 on-base percentage in the series, the lowest allowed by the Dodgers in a three-game set since August 2017 against the Mets (.182 OBP, series started on August 4).

 The Brewers took two of three from the Cardinals, winning the first two games and dropping the third. Milwaukee hit eight home runs in the series and has now hit 17 of its 35 home runs (49 percent) this season against St. Louis having played seven of 19 games (37 percent) against the Cards this season.

 Cody Bellinger has an OPS of 1.412 (.512 OBP/.900 SLG) through 19 games played in 2019. That is the second-highest OPS by a Dodger through the players' first 19 games of a season in the past 100 years (qualified hitters). Matt Kemp started 2012 with a 1.455 OPS (.513 OBP/.942 SLG) through 19 games.

 Christian Yelich is slugging 1.150 with 20 RBI in 24 plate appearances with runners in scoring position this season. Among players who have had at least 15 opportunities with runners in scoring position, Yelich has the highest ratio of RBI to plate appearances (20/24 - .833).

 Zach Davies has gone 2-0 with a 1.53 in his first three starts of 2019. He was 2-7 with a 4.77 ERA in an injury-plagued 2018. Davies' ERA ranks fourth among National League starters with at least 15.0 innings pitched this season.

MILWAUKEE (AP)  Ryan Braun stood in the on-deck circle, smiled and shook his head in disbelief as Christian Yelich crossed the plate after hitting his second home run of the game against Los Angeles on Saturday.
''I was just laughing. He is impossibly good right now,'' Braun said. ''He's making something that's incredibly difficult look really easy. You kind of shake your head. What he's doing is incredibly impressive.''
