 The Mets bullpen lost the last two games for New York, their first back-to-back team losses this month. Since the start of September, New York's starters have posted a 2.77 ERA, the second-lowest mark in baseball (Pit -- 2.72)

 Michael Conforto has six home runs and 16 runs batted in since September 1, the second-most RBI this month (T. Story -- 17). He has homered in his last two games against Philadelphia, both wins for the Mets.

 The Phillies stopped their streak of eight consecutive series lost by winning two of three games against Miami. Philadelphia scored 23 runs in the series, their most in a three-game set since late June.

 Carlos Santana is one walk away from 100 for the season. When he reaches that mark, he will become the first Phillie since Pat Burrell in 2008 to record 20 or more home runs and 100 or more walks.

Wheeler pitched seven solid innings for his career-best 12th win in what may have been his final start of the season, Michael Conforto had a career-high six RBIs and the New York Mets beat the fading Philadelphia Phillies 9-4 on Monday night.
