Washington, which had games postponed both Sunday and Monday, is scheduled for another doubleheader Tuesday after sweeping one from the Cubs on Saturday. At 71-72 on the season, the Nationals have a chance to finish with a winning record for the seventh straight season.

The Phillies lost their last two games with the Mets, failing to win a series for the 10th straight time, the longest active streak in MLB. Before the streak began on August 6, Philadelphia was 1.5 games up in the NL East. After going 11-20 since then, the Phillies find themselves five games back of the Braves.
