Despite dropping the final two games of a four-game series against the Mets, Arizona's 11-5 (.688) record in June is the second best in the NL. In June, the Diamondbacks rank second in MLB in runs per game (6.44), third in OPS (.845), and third in extra-base hits (60).

The Angels finished their nine-game road trip with a 3-6 record, and now sit eight games behind the Mariners for the second Wild Card position. It is the most games out of a playoff spot that the Angels have been all season.

Trout drove in two runs, Kole Calhoun and Ian Kinsler added solo homers and the Angels held on for a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.
