The Indians and Yankees are meeting for the first time since the Yankees overcame a 2-0 series deficit in last year's ALDS to win, 3-2. Cleveland went 5-2 against New York in the regular season last year, including a three-game sweep in Yankee Stadium in August.

Cleveland has at least 12 hits in each of its last five games, and 11 or more runs in three straight. The Indians have never scored 11-plus runs in four straight games; their last three-game streak came in May 1999.

NEW YORK (AP)  By the time his teammates tracked him down for a postgame dousing, Miguel Andujar was standing close to where his winning hit landed.
Andujar flared an RBI single to right field with two outs in the ninth inning and the New York Yankees, after blowing two late leads, beat the Cleveland Indians 7-6 Friday night for their 13th victory in 14 games.
