Looking to end Sevilla's 31-match unbeaten streak at home, Barcelona opened the scoring through Lionel Messi for a second consecutive game on Saturday.
In trademark fashion, and just as he had done against Almeria earlier in the week, Messi received the ball on the right side of the pitch and proceeded to take two touches before curling a beautiful left-footed shot past 'keeper Sergio Rico.
The curler marked Messi's 399th goal for Barcelona and saw Sevilla surpass Atletico Madrid as the genius' favourite victim.
Messi scores his 19th Liga goal against Sevilla, who are now his favourite club (18 vs Atletico).
