Inter wingback Achraf Hakimi tested positive for COVID-19 and missed Wednesday's Champions League match against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hakimi is "totally asymptomatic and will now follow the procedure set out by the health protocol," the Italian club announced.

The Moroccan international is the latest member of the club to test positive after six players contracted the virus earlier in October: Ashley Young, Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Roberto Gagliardini, and Ionut Radu.

Inter played out a 2-2 draw against Gladbach at the San Siro on Wednesday in their Champions League opener.
