Another day, another historic goal for Cristiano Ronaldo.

In his 1,000th professional match for club and country, the Juventus star equaled the single-season Serie A record by scoring in his 11th consecutive game, slamming the ball home from close range in the opening half of Saturday's 2-1 win over lowly SPAL.

The 35-year-old now shares the mark with Fabio Quagliarella and Gabriel Batistuta. The latter holds the outright record over multiple seasons after scoring in 13 straight league appearances with Fiorentina in the early '90s.

Ronaldo, who's been in scintillating form since recovering from the niggling injuries that hampered him earlier in the season, will look to break the record when Juventus host Inter on March 1.
