Radja Nainggolan likely won't partake in Inter's Boxing Day contest against Napoli, as the Nerazzurri announced Sunday they have suspended the midfielder from all football activity for "disciplinary reasons."

Though the club didn't specify the reason behind the punishment, Gianluca Di Marzio reports the Belgian arrived late to training more than once this past week.

Nainggolan has faced disciplinary issues in the past. While at Roma, he was suspended by the club after posting videos on Instagram in which he was seen swearing and drinking on New Year's Eve.

The 30-year-old midfielder joined Inter from Roma over the summer in a €38-million swap deal that sent Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo to the Italian capital. Nainggolan has appeared in 11 of the club's 17 Serie A matches this season, scoring two goals. He also added one in the Champions League against PSV, though Inter failed to make it out of their group.
