Juventus not considering Pogba return

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has denied any interest in a return for embattled Manchester United midfield marauder Paul Pogba.

Despite claims from agent Mino Raiola that his client is not for sale, a reported rift between the World Cup winner and Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has made Pogba the subject of transfer rumours.

Paratici, though, was quick to shut down any links between Pogba and a return to Turin. "We love Paul Pogba, we've a fantastic relationship with him; but we've never thought about his return at Juventus and we're not going to think about it," he told the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.

Pogba, 25, spent four seasons with the 34-time Italian champions after failing to successfully make the jump from United's academy to the first team. Three summers ago, Pogba returned to Old Trafford on a £89.3-million transfer, but it wasn't until this season that the towering midfielder cut a frustrated figure.

Reports of a feud with the manager have prompted strong links with Barcelona, reports that have gained steam after La Blaugrana CEO Oscar Grau conceded that increased revenues could open the door for January additions.
