Miralem Pjanic won't be going anywhere as Juventus and the midfielder's representatives have reached an agreement to keep him in Turin until 2023, according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia.

The deal is expected to make Pjanic the fourth-highest-paid player at the club, earning approximately €6.5 million annually.

It's understood the two sides will finalize the deal Monday and an announcement will be made later this week.

Pjanic, whose current contract expires in 2021, was linked with Manchester City after the Premier League champions missed out on signing Jorginho from Napoli earlier this summer. City manager Pep Guardiola later denied any interest in the 28-year-old.
