A familiar sight unfolded in the first half of Spain's friendly versus England at the Stade de France on Friday.
Thiago Alcantara, whose career has been plagued by injuries since he joined Bayern Munich from Barcelona, limped off the pitch after suffering an apparent injury that's described as "a knock or a strain or something" in the Guardian's live blog of the match.
Thiago enjoyed a phenomenal showing in the opening 25 minutes before being replaced by Santi Cazorla.
Last year, Thiago suffered two debilitating knee injuries, the first of which forced him to miss the World Cup.
