Lyon is set to add another prodigious attacker to its ranks after Lille manager Christophe Galtier confirmed Friday that Martin Terrier will join Les Gones in the summer.

In discussion with reporters ahead of Saturday's relegation clash with Troyes, Galtier admitted Terrier - currently on loan at mid-table Strasbourg - will enlist with Bruno Genesio's lot in the summer.

"Lyon have bought a very good player with a lot of potential," Galtier said about Terrier's impending move to the Rhone-Alpes region, courtesy of L'Equipe. "Things are very well advanced. An agreement was found."

Terrier, 20, is expected to stay with Strasbourg on loan after joining the Ligue 1 newcomer in the summer. With Le Racing, Terrier has scored three goals in 15 league appearances, including a stunning solo effort in a 3-0 victory at Bordeaux where the France youth international was named Man of the Match.

A right-footed attacker with a penchant for inverted play on the left flank or in a central role, Terrier enjoyed a breakthrough summer at the Under-20 World Cup as part of a dazzling young attack that featured Marcus Thuram, Amine Harit, Jean-Kevin Augustin, and Allan-Saint Maximin.

Terrier can expect more of the same at second-placed Lyon. Genesio's side is littered with young talent, where Nabil Fekir and Mariano, both 24, are the elder statesmen for a core that includes Memphis Depay, 23; Bertrand Traore, 22; Maxwel Cornet, 21; Lucas Tousart, 20; and Houssem Aouar, 19, among others.
