Neymar's search for glory at Paris Saint-Germain is ready to begin.

On Saturday, one day after the Ligue de Football Professionel announced the ratification of Neymar's €222-million transfer, the Brazilian phenom was named to PSG's squad for Les Parisiens' Ligue 1 game at En Avant de Guingamp.

Neymar missed PSG's first match of the Ligue 1 season due to a delay in the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, and there was doubt as to why the paperwork failed to materialise earlier in the week.

"We all want him to start playing as soon as possible," Unai Emery said at a press conference, before the ratification was announced. "He feels good in training, and we have worked on tactics and set pieces. He can be in the squad if we get the green light. We all want to see him take the field. We need him with us and we need him to debut as soon as possible."

PSG beat Amiens SC 2-0 sans Neymar to kick off its Ligue 1 adventure.
