Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar couldn't resist taking one last shot at Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez.

The two traded insults on Twitter after PSG secured a 2-1 victory over Marseille to capture the French Super Cup on Wednesday, continuing a dispute that began in the fall when Neymar accused Gonzalez of racial abuse during a match in September.

Neymar sent out a post-match tweet with an image of himself celebrating and a message that read "King, Alvaro, right?" according to ESPN FC's Adriana Garcia's translation.

Gonzalez, who fouled the PSG attacker numerous times during the contest, was quick to respond with an image of himself grabbing Neymar by the head and the message: "My parents always taught me to take out the trash."

The Brazilian star then took a shot at Gonzalez's lack of silverware before the Spaniard pointed out Neymar's World Cup failures. Gonzalez posted a photo of Brazilian icon Pele holding three World Cups in a tweet that read: "The eternal shadow of the king."

Neymar got the last word, noting that his feud with Gonzalez has made the Marseille defender famous.

"And yours mine (shadow)," he wrote. "It made you famous... you are welcome, you star."

While the nature of their spat this time was lighthearted, it was a different story in September when Neymar accused Gonzalez of calling him a monkey. Marseille alleged that Neymar also used a racist slur.

Ligue 1 later cleared both players and they weren't punished.

The two are scheduled to meet again next month when PSG visit Marseille on Feb. 7.
