American teen talent Timothy Weah is swapping the bright lights of the French capital for the calm confines of Lille.

Paris Saint-Germain announced Saturday they are shipping the 19-year-old attacker to Lille on a five-year deal. The transaction carries a €10-million fee, according to Robin Bairner of goal.com.

The son of footballing legend and the current president of Liberia, George Weah, Timothy scored his first professional goal with PSG last summer in the Trophee des Champions against Monaco. He made just a pair of Ligue 1 appearances under Thomas Tuchel before a January loan to Celtic, where Weah scored three goals in 13 SPL appearances.

Weah, 19, will enlist with Les Dogues alongside a slew of PSG academy products who also failed to crack the first team at the Parc des Princes; the eight-time capped USMNT international joins Mike Maignan, Jonathan Ikone, Fode Ballo-Toure, and Boubakary Soumare.
