The 27-year-old was removed from the match in the 21st minute after being on the wrong end of a heavy tackle. He appeared to be in tears on the bench as Brazil's medical staff assessed the injury.

It looks like a possible ankle injury but still unclear with the match at halftime. pic.twitter.com/cjk5yPbv5p
He was then led into the tunnel while unable to put weight on his right leg, with his ankle or foot wrapped in ice.

Neymar previously suffered an injury during Brazil's preparations for this month's Copa America when he hurt his knee during training.
Although the severity of the injury has yet to be determined, Neymar's potential absence could significantly impact a Brazil squad that will open up its Copa America campaign on June 14 against Bolivia.
