Juventus have refused to listen to any of Paris Saint-Germain's offers for Alex Sandro, according to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, giving the French champions virtually no hope of signing the Brazilian this summer.

PSG are searching for a left-back to complete Thomas Tuchel's squad, placing little trust in Layvin Kurzawa. However, with Serie A's transfer window set to close Friday, Juventus apparently felt they weren't in a position to find a replacement in time.

The 27-year-old has struggled to replicate his blistering form from the 2016-17 campaign and failed to make Brazil's 23-man World Cup squad. Juventus were linked with Real Madrid's Marcelo in the days and weeks following the arrival of former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, but those rumors have yet to materialize.

It's unlikely the Bianconeri will do any more business this month, with Emre Can, Mattia Perin, Joao Cancelo, Ronaldo, and Leonardo Bonucci reinforcing an already-stellar team. Juventus also agreed to sign Douglas Costa on a permanent transfer for €40 million.

PSG, meanwhile, have a little more time to find a left-back. Although the Ligue 1 season is underway, the transfer window in France closes on Aug. 31.

Apart from Kurzawa, Tuchel's only other natural option in the position is 19-year-old academy graduate Stanley N'Soki.
