Gabriel Bortoleto: Poor start dooms weekend
Bortoleto finished 13th in the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Bortoleto reached Q3 for the second time in three races to begin the season, beating teammate Nico Hulkenberg by nearly 0.4 seconds. He lined up ninth in the grid, but he immediately lost his chance for points with a poor start as the lights went out. Bortoleto benefited from a safety car to move back into the top 10, but he again struggled at the restart, which pushed him back down the field. Bortoleto has now gone consecutive races without scoring a point.
