Alexander Albon: No progress with car
Albon finished 20th in the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Albon hasn't been helped by an underwhelming Williams package under the new rules, but teammate Carlos Sainz Jr has consistently outperformed him. The Japanese Grand Prix provided more of the same, as Albon was two-tenths of a second off the pace of Sainz to be eliminated in Q1. Reports have suggested that Albon ultimately turned his race into a series of tests to try to understand the shortcomings of the Williams, perhaps setting the team up to make needed adjustments during the long layoff before the Miami Grand Prix.
