Carlos Sainz Jr.: Remains off pace
Sainz finished 15th in the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
The Williams remained well off the pace of the competitive midfield teams, leaving Sainz out of contention for points. The lone positive was that he continued to outperform teammate Alex Albon and reached Q2 for the first time this season. It hasn't been the start to the year that Sainz or Williams were looking for, though the long layoff before the Miami Grand Prix could provide the team with time to make needed adjustments.
