Charles Leclerc: Podium in Australia
Leclerc finished third in the Australian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Albert Park Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
The Ferrari star would start fourth on the grid and make some fantastic moves through turn 1 to jump past the leaders and vault into the lead. Leclerc would hold onto P1 until his lap 25 pit stop. The long opening stint would put he and Lewis Hamilton on a differing strategy than most of the field, but an obvious one-stop strategy. Leclerc would pull his way back up to P3 by lap 28 and ride there the rest of the way. He couldn't track down the faster Mercedes but he would keep Hamilton at his rear for a brilliant third-place finish and podium to start the season.
