Alexander Albon: Struggles continue to end 2025

Albon finished 16th in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

The Williams was subpar relative to the rest of the midfield, but Albon was still outperformed by teammate Carlos Sainz Jr. Albon finished over 0.2 seconds off the pace of Sainz in qualifying, and he undid some of the progress he made during the race by picking up a penalty for speeding on pit lane. Albon racked up points to start the season, but he finished outside the top 10 in eight consecutive races to close the 2025 calendar.
