Yuki Tsunoda: Non-factor in final race of 2025
Tsunoda finished 14th in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Tsunoda had a decent showing in qualifying, particularly helping teammate Max Verstappen with a tow on his first run of Q3. However, Tsunoda then failed to log a time in the session due to a track limit violation, lining him up 10th on the grid. His race was later derailed as he continued to try to aid Verstappen by holding up Lando Norris, though he ultimately got a penalty for changing direction more than once. While Tsunoda did his best to help his teammate throughout the weekend, the result ended up being underwhelming. He'll enter 2026 as a reserve driver for the team.
