Lance Stroll: Knocked out of race in Vegas
Stroll was forced to retire from the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday.
Analysis:
Stroll was the lone driver to switch from intermediate to slick tires during qualifying, which caused him to miss out on a potential spot in Q3. His Aston Martin didn't have the pace to contend for points, but any chance of a good finish was immediately ended by Gabriel Bortoleto, who collided into Stroll on the opening lap. Bortoleto was handed a five-place grid penalty for the Qatar Grand Prix, but that is little consolation for Stroll, who has now gone seven races without points.
