Gabriel Bortoleto: More mistakes in Vegas
Bortoleto was forced to retire from the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday.
Analysis:
In contrast to his teammate, Bortoleto struggled in rainy conditions during qualifying. He started 18th as a result, and he then immediately collided with Lance Stroll on the opening lap of the grand prix. Bortoleto took responsibility and was also handed a five-place grid penalty, meaning it will also be very difficult for him to contend for points in Qatar. He has moments of brilliance in his rookie season, but the last two grand prix have been forgettable for Bortoleto.
