Nico Hulkenberg: Finding consistency
Hulkenberg finished seventh in the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday.
Analysis:
Hulkenberg came out of a wet qualifying session in a decent position for points and started 11th on the grid after missing out on Q3 by over half a second. He began the race on hard tires -- in contrast to much of the field that utilized mediums -- and ran the longest opening stint of the race to gain some track position. Hulkenberg ultimately finished ninth on the road, but he was promoted to seventh after both McLarens were disqualified. He now has points in three of his last four grand prix.
