Lando Norris: Wins Sprint Pole

Norris put in an impressive lap to take pole position during Sprint Qualifying at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, the Briton beating Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli and the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri to seal P1, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

Norris would easily advance to Q3 and lay down the initial fastest lap in the opening moments. The McLaren star would improve further with his final flying lap and record a circuit of 1:09.243 of the Interlagos Circuit. Norris would edge Kimi Antonelli by one-tenth to capture the pole position for Saturday's Sprint in Sao Paulo. He'll roll off P1 and be the heavy odds favorite to win.
