Esteban Ocon: Scores Points in Mexico
Ocon finished ninth in the Mexico City Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
A decent qualifying effort would put the veteran Haas driver starting 11th on the grid. That would increase Ocon's chances of scoring points in Mexico City. He would start on soft tyres and run long to a lap 27 pit stop. This would allow Ocon to climb up to P6. The track position gained was valuable and he would only pit once for the grand prix. A highlight would be a heated battle between Ocon and Oscar Piastri at one point, but Ocon would shore up ninth-place and secure it down the stretch to fetch 2 points in Mexico.
