Pierre Gasly: Fades in United States GP
Gasly finished 19th in the United States Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
After starting 14th on the grid there was some hope the Alpine veteran could challenge for points Sunday in Austin. However, Gasly's undercut pit strategy wouldn't seem to work out. He would slide back to P19 and battle in traffic the rest of the day. Gasly would make it as high as P15 during his second stint but poor pace and struggles with the car would see him fade to 19th-place by the checkered flag. He'll look to rebound next round out in Mexico.
