Oliver Bearman: Points Drive in Austin
Bearman finished ninth in the United States Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
A sound qualifying effort would put Bearman eighth on the starting grid and in good position to grab points in Austin. The young Haas F1 driver would lose a spot in the early laps to Carlos Sainz but would settle in and battle in the mid-field. Bearman would make contact with Yuki Tsunoda later in the race in a heated battle and spin, briefly bringing out the caution flags. However, he would get back underway and recover nicely for a ninth-place finish and 2 points in Austin.
