Lance Stroll: Long stint doesn't pay off

Stroll finished 17th at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 race at the Baku City Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Stroll snuck out of Q1 but was nearly a second off the pace in Q2, burying him 14th on the grid to start the race. He elected to run a long initial stint on medium tires in hopes of a safety car, though that never came. Stroll failed to earn points for the second consecutive grand prix.
