Nico Hulkenberg: Retires on formation lap

Hulkenberg was forced to retire from the Italian Grand Prix F1 race at Autodromo Nazionale Monza during the formation lap on Sunday.

Analysis:

Hulkenberg did fine in qualifying, though he lost out on a spot in Q3 to teammate Gabriel Bortoleto. However, his race ended before it started due to a hydraulic failure. Hulkenberg has now failed to record a point in four straight races and is being overtaken as Kick Sauber's top driver by Bortoleto.
