Max Verstappen: Wins Italian Grand Prix

Verstappen converted pole position into victory during Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, leading home McLaren pair Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri after a dramatic start and end to proceedings at Monza, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

Verstappen and Norris would battle wheel-to-wheel in the opening laps and while Norris would initially get past the Red Bull Racing star he would eventually give P1 back to him on lap 4. From that point on Verstappen would build a solid lead and move out to control the front. His lap 37 pit stop would see Norris take the lead for 9 laps, but Verstappen would soon retake the lead for good once the McLaren star made his pitstop.
