Carlos Sainz Jr.: Clashes with Lawson
Sainz finished 13th in the Dutch Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday.
Analysis:
Sainz looked to be the faster Williams driver at the start of the weekend and reached Q3 for the first time since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. He held that position through the first stint of the race, though things unraveled when he clashed with Liam Lawson upon re-entering from the pits. Sainz suffered a flat tire and was also given a 10-second penalty, the latter a point he contested. That unraveled his race, and he was unable to recover and has now gone five races without points.
