Lance Stroll: Recovers from early-weekend crash
Stroll finished seventh in the Dutch Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday.
Analysis:
Stroll showed pace during the early portions of the weekend, but two big mistakes jeopardized his chance for points. He had a significant crash in FP2 and then got a tire in the grass during qualifying, causing him to spin and crash at Turn 13. Despite starting 19th, Stroll benefited from good fortune on race day, as he pitted early and undercut the field prior to a safety car. That gave Stroll track position that he was able to maintain for his third points finish in his last four grand prix.
