Oscar Piastri: Wins Dutch Grand Prix
Piastri has taken victory in a hugely dramatic Dutch Grand Prix that saw McLaren team mate Lando Norris retire from the race due to a mechanical failure in the closing stages, marking a potentially seismic moment in the championship battle, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
PIastri got off well at the lights out and held onto the lead after Lando Norris would surrender P2 to Max Verstappen on the opening lap. The grand prix would be marked by raindrops at times and differing strategies so it would be incredibly entertaining, but Piastri would manage to control the lead for the full event. A late safety car and restart would add some spice to the finish but Piastri would be successful in holding Verstappen at bay to collect his seventh victory of the season.
