Oliver Bearman: Near Points in Great Britain
Bearman finished 11th in the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Silverstone Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Despite the handicap of a 10-place grid penalty prior to the start of the British Grand Prix, Bearman would race to his third-consecutive 11th-place finish Sunday at Silverstone. Starting P18 on the grid he'd use sound pit strategy and patience racing in tough conditions Sunday in the rain. With some retirements and overtakes Bearman would race up to P10 by his second pit stop of the day. He'd largely hang onto that track position and get around Carlos Sainz for a respectable P11 finish.
