Nico Hulkenberg: Another strong showing
Hulkenberg finished eighth in the Canadian Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday.
Analysis:
Hulkenberg finished with points for the second consecutive race weekend, and things went remarkably similarly to the Spanish Grand Prix. He began in a better grid position -- his 11th-place starting spot was the best of the season -- and he immediately jumped to ninth while Franco Colapinto and Alex Albon squabbled for spots on the opening turn. Hulkenberg retained the grid position for the rest of the race and then benefited from the retirement of Lando Norris. While the result was a bit flattering, the Kick Sauber is trending toward being a more competitive car, and Hulkenberg is getting corresponding results.
