Alexander Albon: Struggles continue in Canada
Albon was forced to retire from the Canadian Grand Prix F1 race due to an engine failure at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday.
Analysis:
Albon had an adventurous weekend in Canada. He performed very well in FP2 by posting the fourth-fastest lap time, though qualifying wasn't quite as smooth. Albon had an engine cover fly off during a hot lap, but more relevantly, lost the balance of his car in windy conditions during Q3. After starting ninth on the grid, Albon had a bad start that dropped him out of the points on the opening lap. His race continued to trend poorly when engine failure struck, with his second consecutive retirement being the result.
