Patricio O’Ward: Strong showing in Indy 500
O'Ward finished third at the Indianapolis 500 IndyCar race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday.
Analysis:
O'Ward continued his strong run in the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, finishing third or better for the third time in the last four years. However, he continues to fall just short of winning the Indy 500 and voiced his displeasure about the driving form of some of his competitors following the race. While he may be frustrated, O'Ward has gotten excellent results this season, finishing inside the top five in half of his six starts. He currently sits in a distant second place in the driver standings.
