Pierre Gasly: Crash with Yuki Tsunoda

Gasly crashed and finished 20th in the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit de Monaco on Sunday.

Analysis:

A poor qualifying effort and P17 start on the grid would put Gasly back in the field for the start of this Monaco Grand Prix. The veteran Alpine driver would press and look to make up some spots in the early going. However, he would run into trouble on lap 9. Gasly would run into the rear wheel of Yuki Tsunoda under braking for the Nouvelle Chicane. The damage would be extensive and he would limp his mortally wounded car back to the pit area. Gasly would be finished for the day and saddled with the disappointing 20th-place finish.
