Charles Leclerc: Frustrating Imola Finish
Leclerc finished sixth in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Imola Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
After a disappointing qualifying effort, Leclerc would quickly move after the lights out to pick up a couple spots to P9. The Ferrari star would pit on lap 10 and perform the undercut. It would seemingly work as he would race up to eighth-place by the lap 29 caution period. From here Leclerc would be laser focused on the podium. He would race up to P4 by lap 48 but his pace would slow late and Leclerc would surrender spots to both Lewis Hamilton and Alex Albon in the closing laps to finish a mildly disappointing P6.
