Jack Doohan: Early Retirement in Miami
Doohan suffered damage on lap 1 and finished 20th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Doohan started 14th on the grid and was looking forward to challenging for points, however, his grand prix would quickly turn sour. The young driver made contact with Liam Lawson on the opening lap and suffered a tyre puncture as well as other damage. Doohan's car was too wounded to make it back to the pit area and would pull off the circuit bring out the virtual safety car. He would be saddled with the 20th-place finish in Miami.
