Alexander Albon: Stellar season continues

Albon finished fifth in the Miami Grand Prix F1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday.

Analysis:

Albon had excellent pace all weekend, but made a few mistakes that cost him until he put it all together come Sunday. He lost points in the sprint race due to a safety-car delta infringement and then had a bobble through the chicane during qualifying that put him seventh on the grid behind teammate Carlos Sainz Jr. However, Albon passed Sainz on Lap 14 under controversial circumstances and never looked back to deliver his second fifth-place finish of the season. Williams is the class of the midfield early this season, and Albon is capitalizing.
